Your ticket purchase includes light refreshments and non-alcoholic beverages during a pub-style trivia game, covering general topics with special women-focused questions between rounds and raffle prizes. Expect a lively atmosphere filled with friendly competition and community spirit. Please note, tickets are non-refundable.

Our nearly 400 members collaborate with partner agencies and community advisors to deliver more than 7,000 volunteer hours in the community each year.

What is Trailblazers and Trivia? 

Trailblazers and Trivia is a fundraising event planned and executed by the 2025-26 New Member Class of the Junior League of Norfolk-Virginia Beach. It is a fun, high-energy trivia event celebrating women who have made an impact across history, culture, leadership, and community.

When and where is Trailblazers and Trivia taking place?

The event is scheduled for Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Vista Room in the Holiday Inn North Beach.

Is there parking available on site?

Yes, there is free self-parking available in the Holiday Inn lot.

How much does it cost to attend Trailblazers and Trivia?

Tickets are $22 per person, and each person must have a ticket. 

Can I buy tickets at the door?

No, unfortunately, tickets must be purchased ahead of time. Ticket sales will stop Thursday, March 5, 2026. Tickets are limited to 75 people, so purchase your tickets early.

How many people are on a team?

There is a maximum of four (4) people per team.

Can I attend as an individual or do I need to have a full team?

You do not need to have a full team to attend the event. When registering, you will notate if you are part of a team or not. If you do not have a team, you will be placed on a team at random.

Who can attend?

All ages are welcome. Questions and answers will be general-audience friendly. 

What kind of trivia questions can I expect to be asked?

Topics include women in history, culture/entertainment, leadership/trailblazers, and fun general knowledge. The trivia will be pub-style trivia meets Family Feud™, looking for top answers and awarding points based on the popularity of the answers.

What type of light refreshments will be provided?

Refreshments will be light hor d’oeuvres with non-alcoholic beverages. No alcohol will be provided or available for purchase.

What kind of raffle prizes will be available?

Prizes will likely include team-friendly experiences, such as gift cards, spa/massage gift certificates, fitness/class passes, dinner gift certificates, movie night packages, car wash/detailing, baskets, etc.

What is the New Member Community Service Project?

In partnership with the YWCA-Norfolk, the 2025-26 New Member class will be collecting feminine hygiene products to create female hygiene kits for women in need. These kits will include disposable heating pads, menstrual hygiene products (liners; maxipads; regular, super, and overnight tampons), feminine wipes and cleaning products, and unopened OTC medications (Midol, Acetaminophen, Ibuprofen, etc.).
